By the name, you may underestimate this excellent application which is installed in your system like another printer. But instead of printing in paper, it generates a PDF file of your document.

And I say you may underestimate it because it also generates PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX, PS, EPS from any application that allows you to print. Just select PDF Creator instead of your regular printer, give the output file a name and a destination and that’s it. When the file is about to be created, it let’s you send it directly by email to the address you specify. You can also encrypt your generated files and protect them with passwords.

I found it very useful for generating a JPG of a long website or to use it instead of a fax machine.
